About MVL

Hi there readers!! :)

MVL by M.V.Lydia was established in 2008 with the name of Lyd's Designs. 

Fashion is her passion since she was young. She attended some fashion institutions such as Phalie Studio, Raffles Institute of Higher Education Jakarta with Best Student Award, and lastly short courses in CSM. One of her beliefs, let experience also teach her more, she also participated in several competitions and also worked for one of her designer idols, Jeffry Tan as pattern maker.

She is an experimental designer, where she loves to experiment and learn new stuffs, especially in pattern making and illustration. Where she also bounds culture in her designs by modifying batik motifs into her custom prints and putting it into one and each of her collection as the main signature of MVL.

3. Top 10 Finalist in AMICA Fashion Designer Competition 2013 (May 2013)

4. Top 10 Fashion Pro Magazine Fashion Illustration Competition 2012 (May 2012)

5. Kimono Contemporary Design 2012 for "Mamechiyo for Shu-uemura" (May 2012):

    - Best "Sakura" Category

    - Best "Botan" Category

6. 1st place Indomaret's Uniform Design 2012. (March 2012)
